i really love not having a car in chicago. it's great not to have to stress over parking (or pay a ton!) or worry about traffic. i hate getting gas and dealing with maintenance, and keeping the damn thing clean. however, i miss singing in the car. i never sing out loud in chicago. i'm usually in the shower while steve is still sleeping, and my commute is more vertical (two elevators) than anything else (5 minute walk) so there really isn't much time.
i guess in 2005 i should find more times and places that i can sing out loud in chicago. i think it would make my life a smidge better.
