so i forgot to tell you about the highlight of my week.

i went to this work event which was a concert. and it was for the donnas, which i *love* (although their new album is not as good as their last one -- bummer!). anyhow, so i'm there rockin' out with a couple of people i know through work and this very attractive guy (who happens to be brand new to the biz, since he just finished college and is all of 23) asks me if i'm dating anyone. and when i tell him that i've been dating my husband for about 7 years he is bummed. we'd talked before about politics and work stuff, and of course i'm sure it was that (and not me shakin' my tailfeather) that made him say something to the effect of "i always like the unavailable ones."

love it! i've been riding high off of that all week!
