i'm gonna be cheesy and say how thankful i am today. i'm dang thankful that i have the best husband *ever*, a career that i enjoy, good health, and am surrounded by a wealth of wonderful family, fantastic in-laws and amazing friends.

a special THANK YOU to everyone that was able to join me last weekend to celebrate my birthday. i honestly can't think of a better way to celebrate than to escape with all of you for the weekend, and i hope we can do it again -- even bigger and better -- next year. it felt very "big chill"-ish, and i loved seeing friends from all parts of my life mixing and mingling.

i can't think of anything i'd change next year, either, except maybe having less rye bread, and making it mandatory to jump in the lake. :)
