i just tried to create an additional post this morning about the printer's row book fair, which we went to yesterday. steve got really tired of the crowds and sorting through many, many books about halfway through, but not until after i had a chance to get him as psyched as i was to look through some amazing rockwell kent prints. i really dig rockwell kent. his paintings are just so-so, but his engravings rock. and he explored alaska and greenland and wrote about it! they had a signed limited edition of one of his books, N by E, that was chock-full of beautiful engravings. it was $300 and for a few minutes we really thought about buying it. so to explain our enthusiasm to you, my loyal reader, i found a bunch of rockwell kent prints online. and i painstakingly looked through them and linked to the best ones. and then steve's stupid apple browser crashed.
so please, for my sake, google search "rockwell kent" and take a look at his prints. and tell me you think they're cool.
