by the way, i haven't mentioned this, but it's really exciting for the family: my cousin tami and her husband larry have just gone to china to pick up the little girl that they've adopted. i started tearing up the first time i read their weblog about the trip, and i just looked it up for an update and started getting all cheesed up about it again. their little girl, Liberty Pauline is adorable. seriously, check her out. the name is a bit odd, i know, but my cousin is really into politics (unfortunately we disagree strongly, but thank god we're in a country where we can!) and then my grandma's name is Pauline.
