okay, so i have no idea which one of you signed me up for the newsletter from the richard nixon library and birthplace foundation, but i unsubscribed, so the joke is over.

on a very different note, i tried a new indian restaurant (not new overall, but new to me) last night and was thrilled to find lamb hyderabadi on the menu. for those of you in michigan that get cajoled into accompanying me to shalimar for chicken hyderabadi every time that i'm home, i don't think this gets you out of that obligation, but it is the first time i've found a similar dish elsewhere.

there's a great article in today's wsj about how youtube has become an important force for showing what's going on in countries around the world, sometimes causing the site to be blocked by foreign governments. that sort of worldwide clout/power definitely makes yt an interesting thing to be a part of right now. i can't really think of another internet site with that sort of political power. thoughts, anyone?
