it's been a long week!
i was lucky enough to get to LA this week to see a few former colleagues and dip my toe back into ad agency land, which felt good. i wasn't sure how i'd feel walking back into my former company's office down there, or visiting a former colleague who is now one of my firm's esteemed clients, but it didn't feel too awkward being on the opposite side of the table.

last night i checked out a thai restaurant in our new little town. the panang salmon curry was yummy and they're open late, so that's good. i was a little miffed that they don't take american express (a little pet peeve of mine) but i'm generally happy with my discovery.

see, living in the 'burbs isn't so bad -- we even have ethnic food!
