tonight we went down to san carlos to see the crazy christmas lights that people have up along eucalyptus ave. it's truly amazing how much effort these folks put in. we couldn't fit in on that street if we wanted to -- too much effort. i haven't uploaded my videos yet (and i'm not sure that i even got any decent footage), so you'll have to settle for this video someone else uploaded onto youtube. he got some great footage, even if his comments are inane (and i'm sure my comments are inane too):

i read this article which has fun suggestions for parenthood. i like #5 a lot. we might have to start doing that for our st. patrick's day tradition. i also like #18 very much. while i'm very excited about the new sex and the city movie (trailer just came out! you can see it here, i'm very very glad to have steve -- and rex. my life rules.
