we had fun watching the super bowl, which (for the two of you reading this that didn't watch it) ended up being a good football game for once in the past several years.
however, for me the commercials are the big draw. my faves this year were:
- the 'shaq as a jockey' vitamin water spot
- the e-trade baby ads (especially the one with the clown)
- tide's talking stain
- the t-mobile "fave five" spot with dwane wade and sir charles, which is going to have us saying "do you like popsicles?" quite a bit
- diet pepsi's "nod" spot was just okay, but it's worth seeing for the ending
- the coca-cola "it's mine" spot using macy's parade balloons (soooo beautifully done!)
