Stuart Elliott: The actor in the series of spots for OfficeMax, part of the Boise Cascade Corporation, is named Eddie Steeples. The first commercial in the series, which began appearing last December, is among the five spots nominated for a 2004 Emmy Award in the outstanding commercial category. The commercials are created by the OfficeMax agency, the Chicago office of DDB Worldwide, part of the Omnicom Group.
