and here's another bit of news to brighten your day (or, i suppose, to cast a dark cloud over it if you're an infomercial fan): the FTC banned infomercial king Kevin Trudeau to "from appearing in, producing, or disseminating future infomercials that advertise any type of product, service, or program to the public". there goes his livelihood.
usually i'm not a big fan of the FTC's decisions (or lack thereof in many instances) but i find their decisiveness a positive thing in this circumstance!
