ahhh... just as i suspected, michiganders know that the state is fudged, but they still love it. i got into an impassioned discussion about meijer (of all things) today.

on a very non-related note, steve and i participated in the San Francisco AIDS Walk on sunday. it was incredible! over 25,000 people walked the 6 mile course, and the event raised over $3.7MM for charities helping people in the bay area. i met my initial goal, but since i've found out that i can fundraise until august 11th, i've set a new goal of raising $1000. please visit my site and donate here. if you'd like to see my photos from the event, you can check them out on my flickr page.
