the move is looking pretty solid. the details have to be straightened out, but my boss is pretty committed to making it work.
i am saddened by the prospect of having to navigate the political and personal waters of a whole new office (i *love* my coworkers) but i'm excited about the opportunity to move to a fabulous new city. i never would have thought i'd have the opportunity to move out to san fran with a secure job -- it's almost too good to be true.
since my boss is convinced it's happening and since the san francisco office all knows that i'm considering it (and coming out to meet them all) it's pretty much public knowledge. i could always turn it down if it doesn't go well next week, or if steve decides he doesn't want to go. however, i can't imagine my first impressions of the folks out there being completely wrong, and steve is really excited.
my head is spinning. thank goodness i was completely swamped at work today (i counted and at one point today had 12 different things going on concurrently -- all of which i did piss-poor at!).
i have to leave home at 5:45 am tomorrow for a trip, so i am going to bed RIGHT NOW.
